This week I spent a couple of days at Decorex 2026. A brilliant opportunity to meet with suppliers old and new, and discover new brands and their products. With more than 280 brands under one roof, from furniture and lighting to textiles, wallcoverings and surfaces, it’s where I come to find the pieces and the makers that make a home feel bespoke.
As an interior designer based in North London, working with clients across Muswell Hill, Highgate, Hampstead and Islington, and increasingly further across London. I walked the show with one question in mind, what would I actually bring into a London home? Here’s my edit.

My Decorex 2026 finds
1. The Odd Company
Fell in love with these lovely products… Headboards, beds and mattresses beautifully crafted and made in Yorkshire. The headboards not only frame your bed and make a real statement but are also super practical incorporating bedside lights. The beds themselves have excellent storage capabilities and with the opportunity to use the fabric of your choice in any combination with a reasonable price point these really are a win win.
2. Haslam West
This dynamic duo make the most wonderful lamps and lampshades in all shapes and sizes. With a traditional bent their style is timeless and built to last. With a mix and match approach plus superb vintage finds each piece of lighting is completely unique. Everything is handmade in the UK with sustainability in mind. Lucy and Rosanna both have art backgrounds and their rich knowledge of this shines through with products that are deeply personal to them and their clients alike.
3. Aarohana Home
Runners and Rugs ground a design like nothing else, and no-one does them quite like Aarohana Home. Handcrafted in natural materials such as jute and silk using traditional techniques each piece is a unique work of art. Designs based in tradition but wonderfully modern with a colour palette of dreams which can be bespoke to your scheme. This family based company is one not to miss.
4. The Soho Lighting Company
The busiest stand at Decorex, and it’s easy to see why. The Soho Lighting Company have really nailed it when it comes to light fittings, switches and sockets. I am particularly drawn to quality ironmongery, they are the perfect project finisher. Their “aged brass” finish from the newly launched Architectural range is divine and I will be using this throughout in a current Chelsea project.
5. Ian Sanderson
Fabrics galore at Ian Sanderson. Such a beautifully put together display, showcasing all their gorgeous textiles and versatility. Beautiful small prints paired with bolder designs working so perfectly. Another UK family business who design all prints in house, using mainly cottons and linens to produce quality products. There’s an Ian Sanderson print for every room in every home.
What else I saw, and why I go to Decorex as a London interior designer
I am always drawn to lighting, as an ex photographer, it stands to reason. You can have a beautifully designed room but if the lighting is wrong, game over. Here are some pics of my favourites.
Fringed lights by Rothschild & Bickers. Chelsea diffuser light and hanging trio by Industville.
Most of the pieces you see at Decorex aren’t necessarily high street products. Going in person means I can see the quality up close, meet the makers and bring my clients options that feel properly theirs. It feeds straight into my sourcing and procurement service and every one of my design packages, whether that’s a single room or a whole-house project.
